Welcome to MADCC

MADCC is a club for adults, young people, and families. Our members have a wide range of paddle sport interests including touring, moving water trips, flat water racing, and sea kayaking. The club’s qualified coaches are able to offer training and assessments for national skills awards in many aspects of paddle sport.

Regular club meetings, with coaching if required, are held on Monday nights at Bollington and on Thursday nights at Brereton country park from April to September.

During the winter pool sessions, sea and river trips continue at weekends. Race boat paddling sessions take place year-round on Sunday mornings and weekday evenings.

The club runs the well-known annual 96 mile Cheshire Ring race, as well as other flat-water races, and also organises regular trips to moving water, camping trips, and pool training sessions.

  • Adelphi Hasler Race 9th July

    Details for the Adelphi Hasler Race on 9th July - part of the NW series of races counting towards qualification for the national club championship - are now on the website under the Racing tab.

  • Diary Dates for 2017

    The 2017 edition of the Cheshire Ring Canal Race will be held over the weekend of 24+25 June.

    The 2017 Adelphi NW region Hasler race has been changed and will now be held on Sunday 9th July.

    More details for both events will be available from the website closer to the race dates.

  • Club Nights Resume

    Bollington paddling is back from Monday 10th April, and Brereton from the 13th April - both at 7pm.
